By selecting the hard disk
capacity and the use of inbuilt motion sensing
software you can record up to 31 days continuously:

Other recording features include:
Review and record simultaneously
Automatic data recycling for maintenance free
operation
Time and date search to select only relevant
recordings

Motion sensing software
You can record on movement only, with the inbuilt
movement detection software. Thus you record
only relevant information, making reviewing
the video much faster and greatly extending
the recording capacity of the system.
Motion sensing can be set to
exclude certain regions for instance trees,
to reduce unnecessary recording of background
movement. Sensitivity can be selected for instance
to suit day and night time light levels.

Pre-Event Recording
Pre-event recording stores vital moments prior
to an alarm event taking place. For example
in retail tagging the pre-alarm records a few
seconds before each tag alarm is detected. The
pre-alarm can be set to record up to 10 seconds
of video prior to each activation for any given
camera.
Upgradeable number
of camera inputs
You can add more cameras to your system without
having to buy another unit by adding easy to
install 4 camera plug-in expansion modules up
to a maximum of 24 cameras.

Smart Timer
Automatic software timer control ensures you
never have to remember to arm the system

The SMART TIMER is a versatile software selectable
timer with up to 9 time zones for automatic
arming and disarming of the system. There is
independent control for each camera, so for
example, you can record on movement for camera1
during office hours, then automatically switch
to central station monitoring at night.
You can also connect the system to your existing
intruder alarm panel to synchronise arming and
disarming with your intruder alarm system.
Pager/SMS
You can notify security staff or key-holders
of an alarm via Pager or SMS with your own message
content. Up to 5 users can be simultaneously
informed for a variety of types of alarm.
For example: if alarm zone
1 is activated, User A can be notified as shown
below, but Engineer (User 2) can be alerted
in the event of a system fault such as loss
of camera signal

Pan Tilt Zoom control
Dome cameras or pant tilt zoom cameras can be
controlled or set to pre-set positions and pre-selected
tours. You can control camera movement across
a network or remotely via the telephone lines
or better via digital ISDN lines.
Integrated remote access
software
You can access the cameras from anywhere in
the world. Easy to install remote access software
gives you almost instant access to either the
live camera view or the recorded video so you
can scan round the cameras and see the cause
of an alarm without having to go on site.
At the camera end, the remote access software
is already built into the unit, so you don’t
need to purchase additional units to add remote
surveillance at a later date. The remote monitoring
application installs directly onto your lap
top or computer and uses either a standard modems,
or digital ISDN telephone lines.
Backup and incident
viewer software
You can save recorded video onto a floppy disk,
with each disk taking up to four incidents of
20 images each, which is approximately 1 minute
of video at 1 frame per second.
Alternatively you can back up sections of video
to CD or another computer hard disk across a
network.
A viewing application which
comes with the package, allows you to review
and print the saved video on most standard computers,
so you can review the video at another location
or provide police with a self contained solution
for reviewing evidence. Incident files are recorded
in a format designed to prevent unauthorised
tampering with the video.
